What's the 'fishtank lookalike' thing situated right smack in the center of the Vivamusic Hub? Well, we call it The Box. It is from The Box where we play our in-house music and screen the stuff that you see on our big screen. We have everything from turntables to CD player to even VHS player.

The Box is a very special place for us. It is where we hosted to celebrities like Aaron Carter, Coco Lee, Dick Lee, Jared Douglas, Christian Wunderlich, Paul Van Dyk to name a few. It is also where our budding local DJs like Frontal Labs, Groove Genetics and Lo-furs have generated good music in-house during our one year of existence.

It's a fact that The Box is one of its kind here in Singapore. It is so unique that MTV Asia and Musicwalk have each filmed one of their episodes in it. Sun Yan Zi was there with VJ Belinda filming for MTV and the list goes on.

If you didn't know, is it in The Box too that Coco Lee had a live webcast and live chat with her fans who weren't able to make it to the venue. It was a good first time experience for us because of the tremendous response that it received.

Keeping in line with 'Your Music Lifestyle' tagline, we have hosted to very well received gigs from punk rock to ska and hip-hop indoors! A first for a music store in Singapore! Although it's a security hazard everytime a gig is organized but nothing beats the exhilaration the local music supporters feel when they attend the gig. It is our pleasure to become the alternative platform for our talents to shine apart from your usual Youth Park or Substation venues.

We are also proud to be the venue for the launch of the debut album for our rap-core brothers, Chou Pi Jiang. We have also hosted the Radiohead 'Amnesiac' Listening Party. Hardcore fans of Radiohead were treated to the full album way before Amnesiac was released.
