An Israeli duo manages to produce quite a piece of work considering there seem to be many crack downs on trance parties in the nation due to misconceptions about drugs and the genre of music. Garnering their inspirations from the sun, a main object in all their CD covers, which they feel is a symbol of power and positive vibes, Avi and Lior have been through quite a bit in their 15 years of working with music in order to realise their passion. Understanding the crowd and feel of a party are very important factors for the duo, who feel a logical connection to the scene is essential.
Deriving their influences from top acts like Paul Oakenfold and Danny Rampling, Avi started out doing industrial and electronic music, while Lior had a perk for rock and worked in New York as a midi man and digital production before forming Astral Projection. Their synchronised electronic and techno/trance moves contain energetic percussion, and although monotonous at times, this group is a potential to look out for.
