This latest album from Kiroro is light, refreshing and happy. Notable tracks in the album are “Saigo No Kiss” and “Suki Na Hito” with strong vocals set amidst soothing music. Both girls are from Okinawa and they write their own songs and play their own instruments as well. From the success of their previous album, it’s no wonder why Kiroro is such a hit in Japan. Chi-Haru Tamashiro and A-yano Kinjo- both have clear and soulful vocals with your average ‘girls-next-door’ looks. Unlike many of the J-pop artistes, Kiroro stays away from the usual fare of remixes and digital music. “Sky” will definitely impress audiences as the group continues their formula of ‘down-to-earth’ tunes with inspiring lyrics.
