Almost Famous
Directed by Cameron Crowe, Almost Famous has already garnered its first major award, the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress, Kate Hudson. The movie speaks of a young boy, living in the 70s' and his dream of becoming an entertainment journalist. Loosely autobiographical of Cameron Crowe's personal experience, the main protagonist, William goes on the road with a struggling rock group.
The soundtrack is 70s' rock, pop with tracks from Simon & Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, to name a few. Like the music of that time, the soundtrack is bound to bring back nostalgic memories of that bohemian period.
