The last of the Spice Girls to release a solo effort, Victoria Beckham's self-titled album is a vague reminder of the Spice Girls Forever album.
Synchronized beats with bouncy tracks are just some of the examples that can be found here. Aside from the fast numbers, her ballads such as the one dedicated to Brooklyn, Every Part Of Me is a tad too slow.
Anyways, this is a good try for a debut album. However, not many will like it.
Fever is set on following the success formula of Kylie's first album after so many years, Light Years
Disco beats, dance floor favourites are the beats that make up the album. her first single, Can't Get You Out Of My Head penned by another great singer from the 80s, Cathy Dennis, is riding high on the radio waves now.
If you think that Kylie Minogue is another pretty face with bad voice then think again. She is a living proof that pretty people can sing well too.
From the red, green and yellow and a picture of a hemp leaf on the cover, there is no doubt that the album speaks about joints that will make you go high.
The album is light hearted but the messages that seem to come out direct from Afroman are not exactly what we would want the children to be exposed to. Celebrating the goodness of marijuana and such, the album talks about what people would do when they are in situations when they are high on the drugs.
The album comes with a bonus Because I Got High video. Other than that The Good Times is not exactly a good buy. I would not recommend to those who are young enough not to understand the consequences but to the adults, hey this album is some fun.
